On March 17, 2009, the Canadian International Trade Court issued an industrial injury notice on the anti-dumping and countervailing case against Aluminum extrusions from China, ruling that the dumping and subsidy of aluminum extrusions imported from or originating in China had caused material injury to the Canadian domestic industry. Following the ruling, the Canadian Border Services Agency will continue to impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on the products involved. On 18 August 2008, The Canadian Border Services Agency initiated anti-dumping and subsidy investigations against imports of aluminium extrusions from or originating in China. The customs codes of the products involved are 76042100.10, 76042100.20, 76042911.10, 76042911.90, 76042912.11, 76042912.19, 76042912.21, 76042912.22, 76042912.23 and 760 42912.24, 76042912.29, 76042920.11, 76042920.19, 76042920.21, 76042920.29, 76042920.30 and 76082000.90. On February 16, 2009, The Canadian Border Services Agency made a final ruling on the products involved, ruling that the dumping margin of the Chinese enterprises involved was 1.7% ~ 101%, and the subsidy rate was 2.59 ~ 15.84 yuan/kg.
